1. Data controller

2. Name of the register
Trafipoint.fi and com customer register
3. Purpose of processing personal data (purpose of the register)
The data controller processes customers’ company and personal data for the following purposes:
- managing and developing the customer relationship
- marketing the data controller’s products and services and direct marketing, including electronic direct marketing
- developing the data controller’s business and related customer service
- surveying customers’ areas of interest and marketing needs. Monitoring and analysing customers’ choices and wishes, and developing the related customer service data.
- taking customers’ wishes into account and developing customer service, as well as targeting marketing
The processing of company and personal data is based on points 1, 2, 5 and 6 of Section 8(1) of the Personal Data Act.
4. Contents of the register
The following data is collected and stored about customers:
- customer data: company name, contact details (e.g. address details, mobile phone number and email address) for contacting.
5. Regular sources of data
Data concerning customers is obtained, with the customer’s consent, from the customer themselves (Section 8(1), point 1 of the Personal Data Act).
6. Principles of protecting the register
Only those who need the data for their work tasks have access to the register.
6.1 Electronic material
An information system protected with usernames in the service provider’s protected server environment.
7. Transparency principle under Section 24 of the Personal Data Act
7.1. Right of access and right to correct incorrect data
The customer has the right to inspect the data concerning them in the customer register. When a customer wishes to exercise their right of access, they must send a personally signed access request. If there are errors in the customer’s data, the customer may submit a request to correct the error.
7.2. Right to object
The customer has the right to prohibit the data controller from processing their data for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing. The customer can make the prohibition by notifying us in writing or by sending a request by email to: info@trafipoint.fi
